Enter Neography.

Time to have a web presence, improve my writing skills and share my work. After years of not having my own personal website, I’ve decided to give it a try.
That’s right, as if I didn’t have enough websites to keep updated, I’ve decided to start my own personal blog in an effort to share some of my thoughts and at the same time try to improve my not so hot writing skills. In addition, this website will serve as a hub for all things me, a place to share all my daily findings, my work, photographs, etc.
Before You Judge
I’ve been working on this site for over a year. Shameful, I know, it’s what I get for not setting a deadline. At the end of 2009 I decided I had to get the site up in January of 2010, so here we are. I had to get this out there before another year went by.
The site isn’t 100% complete. There are sections of the site which are unfinished and still need improvement, the markup and CSS will possibly be re-written, so please look at it as a living thing that will be constantly changing as I go.
Stay tuned, it will get interesting around here in the next few months.
In the mean time, have a look around, and if you have any feedback, feel free to send me a note or leave a comment below.
Thanks!

I am jealous of your zen.
I love it! Great work!
I’ve had the same initiative to make a personal site during 2009 and haven’t yet finished.
Inspiration.
lookin good, alex. love the whitespace, subtle accents, simplicity and solid grid.
one question tho– where are #1 and #2?
ooh, another thing– love the comments layout :)
nice touch.
@Doris #1 #2 are hidden on purpose ;-) More on that later :)
Great work! Love the large photos, the grid and the minimalist touch with style. Rock on.
Congrats! Love the look and feel. As Anton said it has a nice zen like quality. Really dig the comments and kinda jealous I didn’t think of them ;)
i figured as much. just wanted you to know that i noticed ;)
Awesome to see this finally come to life. For a personal site, I was interested to see you broke away from using any subtle gradients. Neography = new grounds indeed.
Fantastic work Alex!
Lookin sweet bro!
Thank you all for the nice comments! The hard work is ahead of me, writing good content…
Let’s see how this goes :)
Congrats Alex! I really look forward to reading your writing!
I really really like that you’re telling me how many characters I have left, in case I get too wordy. I’ll try to comment in concise sentences :)
Enjoyed viewing the site and following nclud.
